Career Path

Career Path lets you build a structured career development framework for your team. Define job levels, create skills with proficiency rubrics, assess team members against those skills, and visualize alignment with level expectations.

Where to find it

Open Career Path from the left sidebar.

Tabs

The Career Path page has four tabs:

  • Levels — Define job levels and their skill expectations.
  • Skills — Create skills with multi-tier proficiency rubrics.
  • Team Overview — Assess and view the entire team’s skill positioning at a glance.
  • Compare — Compare a member’s current skills against a target level using a radar chart.

Export and import

Section titled “Export and import”

Use the dropdown menu in the header to export or import your career path definition as a JSON file.

  • Export saves all levels and skills (not member assessments) to a career-path-definition.json file.
  • Import replaces the current levels and skills with the contents of a JSON file.

This is useful for sharing frameworks between workspaces or backing up your configuration.
